Soon I will arrive in Boston, my favourite city. This time I will have the last night of my stay in the city itself and stay at Hotel Marlowe, just a stone's throw away from Royal Sonesta Hotel, another favourite hotel in Beantown.

Staying in hotels in major American cities is expensive, even compared to Norwegian standards. As travel writer I like to try new hotels when returning to a destination. When comparing prices on booking.com, and consulting tripadvisor, I ended up at Hotel Marlowe - a Kimpton Hotel close to Lechmere T-station and the Science Museum overlooking the beautiful Charles River
It had a very favourable rating at booking.com, and awarded a score of 8,8 out of 10 points, and tripadvisor rates Marlowe Hotel as the second best in Cambridge MA.

The Hotel Marlowe website features photos of elegant interiors, rooms overlooking Boston skyline, delicious food and tasteful conference facilities. Seeing photos like these means high expectations, so I really look forward to our stay.
I am traveling with my nephew, and I booked a 31,5 square meter (333 square ft) room at Hotel Marlowe with two separate double beds and paid USD 343 (1 958 NOK /  264 Euros). It does not include breakfast, but there is no shortage of restaurants close by, so we'll just take a snack, perhaps at the food court of CambridgeSide Galleria.
So stay tuned to Enjoy Food & Travel to see if Hotel Marlowe is as good as it seems. I certainly hope to have a luxurious end to our New England vacation, but I am happy to say that there are so much happening before that last night.
