The trade in Pangasius fillet worldwide

Pangasius is a catfish indigenous to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. It grows fast; the flesh is white and firm, and does not have many bones. Pangasius is easily fileted and is inexpensive even when exported halfway round the world to Europe.

Here is an information video on this fish from German Deutsche Welle. It shows how export of Pangasius from Vietnam has been entangled in the intricate web of international trade and barriers to trade.
